We believe the wisdom of Chinese metaphysics — refined over thousands of years — still has a great deal to offer modern life. fengshui8 exists to make it approachable and useful.
fengshui8 is a new website about three traditions of Chinese metaphysics: Feng Shui, the art of arranging the spaces we live and work in; Ba Zi, the "Four Pillars" chart drawn from the date and time of birth; and the I Ching, the ancient Book of Changes. It brings together three things:
We want to make these traditions approachable: to explain what they actually say and where the ideas come from, without overselling them, so you can decide for yourself what they mean to you.
We're launching in an early phase, starting with visitors in the United States and Canada, to learn what people find useful before we build more. That's why online ordering isn't open yet. If a product interests you, use Notify me on its page and we'll email you when it can be ordered.
